Teyon is seeking a talented Junior Environment Artist
Location: Kraków
Your responsibilities:
- assist in modeling, texturing, and optimizing 3D assets for real-time rendering
- collaborate with senior artists to create 3D game environments, props, and assets
- create basic environmental elements like simple architectural structures and small props
- support the art team in asset integration and bug fixing
- maintain organization of project files and assets
- stay updated on industry trends and software tools
- continuously improve skills through self-learning and training
Requirements:
- basic knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
- basic knowledge of texture creation and mapping techniques
- understanding of real-time rendering and game engine workflows (e.g. Unreal Engine)
- familiarity with 2D and 3D art fundamentals, including composition, and color theory
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- attention to detail and the ability to follow art direction
- basic understanding of asset optimization and performance considerations
Nice to have:
- experience with sculpting software like ZBrush
- familiarity with photogrammetry techniques
- understanding of level design principles
- basic knowledge of scripting and automation in 3D software
- knowledge of architectural design concepts
